Since last Friday I have been staring at my fingers admiring my Broadway Nails’s French Flip press on nails. I lucked out and found them at my local Dollar Tree. Having purchased them at drugstores for around $5 a box I bought all in the store (about 24 boxes of Broadway Nails for fingers and toes). Today I will call around to see if they have more. When you see a bargain, scoop a bargain.
From the packaging these Broadway Nails do not look spectacular. The French tip is a bit longer in length than a traditional French tip design giving it a modern twist to the typical French manicure. This may be a turn off to those that as creatures of habit stay within the “norm”. For me the $1 per pack robbed my inner creature of habit for my wallet to purchase these lovelies.
Did I mention they have a “flip side”? Under the tip is a funky 1970′s print of pink flowers or stars (whichever way you look at it, there is no stem). This unexpected and surprising bonus fails to knock my socks off. Who is going to look under my nails to notice it? If someone does notice it they are paying too much attention to me.
These Broadway Nails come in 12 sizes and contain 24 nails in total. For nail beds as large as mine I am thankful Broadway Nails thought of those outside of petite. Although, if my largest nail, the thumb breaks I will not have a backup. I am not hard pressed to be upset about that.
Applying the nails was fairly easy. However, I did manage to use too much glue which caused the surplus to push up covering some of the flowery, underside design. Could this be why I am not a fan of the underside design? Being greedy for more “umpf”, I used Sinful Colors nail polish in Pearl Harbor (#115) as a top coat. Pearl Harbor is iridescent glitter housed in a clear varnish. It gave my nails an added “pop” which I think intensifies the French manicure. Thank you Sinful Colors.
I am on day four and these nails are pretty sturdy. Being heavy handed during most tasks I have not chipped or caused any of these Broadway Nails to fall off. This is impressive!
I will wear these nails for two weeks which is the average time artificial nails should be worn before they are refilled or reapplied. I love the $1 price but not enough to forget that nail fungus does exist and will be all too happy to visit my fingers if I am too cheap or too lazy to maintain my real nails underneath these lovelies.
Whether or not these Broadway Nails are at your local Dollar Tree, I encourage the buy. Enjoy the images of me enjoying my nails.

Thanks Emily! Your comment is my first. Ya! I do like these nails. I haven’t gone back to get more. Hopefully, I’ll be able to tomorrow.
